A few weeks ago, I chatted with Shawn Feeney for his “Think Outside The Lines” podcast, a very cool (and well-rated!) podcast with the intention of inspiring people to live the life they want. I am super honored to be considered by Shawn, someone who talks to “real” successful people, to be a person who is doing her stuff enough that I might be an inspiration to someone else. You can listen to the episode at the TOTL website here or on iTunes here!
Shawn and I talk about all kinds of things, with a focus on doing the work, forgiving yourself, and making people laugh. I gush so much over Minnesota and the Twin Cities’ performance culture. We talk about my pal Chris Maddock and what a comic genius he is. I defend Saturday Night Live, we talk Leslie Jones and Maria Bamford, and of course we talk how hilarious (and amazing and the best) Tori Amos is. You heard me.
Martha Graham. She’s “the dancer woman” I was trying to think of.
And I talk about how I would save the world.
